COVID-19 Weekly Update – June 4

Dear Colleagues,

We hope you are all staying safe. Remember that vaccines take about two weeks to become effective. Also, one must still practise the COVID-19 protocols. Social distancing, mask wearing and sanitising are all still essential until the virus spread is under control.

We have not seen a significant reduction in new cases but there has been a significant increase in deaths.

COVID-19 Update – December 18

Season Greetings to our Members, Colleagues and Friends.

We encourage you to access our conference presentations on actuview. Please send us your comments, especially on the pre-recorded sessions.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Our festive season is going to be very different than what we are accustomed too. We will still enjoy time with our loved ones though this year some get-togethers will be by Zoom.

News Update – December 11

Dear Colleagues,

We took a break for our Virtual Conference. We hope that you were able to attend and that you enjoyed all the sessions. We wish to keep the dialogue going, especially on the current topics and the thought-provoking presentations.  The CAA thanks the participants, presenters, sponsors and organisers.

All presentations are now available on actuview. All members have been given access codes. If you are unable to recall your code then please search your inbox for “your actuview code”.

We also have quite a few presentations that were pre-recorded as we could not fit them all in the live sessions. We would appreciate your feedback to share with those presenters.

I have deliberately left out weekend reading as I encourage everyone to explore our sessions.

Enjoy your weekend.

Please visit our website, Facebook page and LinkedIn page.

Thank you.

News Update – December 8

Hello Everyone,

We hope you all attended our highly successful conference last week! Keep watching our website and our actuview page for additional material coming this week.

We’ve all been focused on Conference and may have missed a very important milestone for one of our long-serving members. Here’s a feature from Jamaica’s Gleaner newspaper of last Monday.

Congratulations to Astor Duggan, his team, and all those who preceded them, who shaped Duggan Consulting Ltd. into the highly respected firm it is today.

Best Regards,

Shubhash & Betty

Thank you for reading our blog. We regularly scour the web to find interesting links so you don’t have to. We hate to disappoint you but, between now and the end of the year, we’ll be cutting back to two posts every week. COVID-19 updates on Fridays and other news on Wednesdays. You can also catch up on some of our past posts by visiting our Homepage.

Conference is just around the corner and we’re doing all we can to make it just as engaging as always. Be prepared for a few surprises – including the registration!  Live sessions will take place between 30th November and 4th December but we’ll start uploading pre-recorded sessions to ActuView from the week before. All members received ActuView codes several months ago. If you’ve mislaid yours let us know and we’ll resend it.
