Our thoughts are with our friends and colleagues in Barbados as they start to recover from Hurricane Elsa and to those in Jamaica who anticipate its arrival tomorrow. Stay safe everyone. Keep track at the National Hurricane Center.
As borders reopen and most countries have vaccination plans in place, we do hope that you are staying safe and adhering to the COVID-19 protocols. Remember when you get your second dose, it will take about two weeks for your immune system to adjust. It is important to sanitise, social distance, wear a mask and follow the directives from your Ministry of Health. You can even chat with your doctor.
Remember that we are risk managers and that the world his far from controlling the risk of spread of COVID-19 and its variants. It will take the rest of the year and probably part of next year for us to be comfortable with our environment and social behaviour.
