COVID-19 Update-May 12

Dear Colleagues,

Please keep sharing feedback, links and reports, especially those relevant to the Caribbean.

THE VIRTUAL PARIS COLLOQUIUM HAS STARTED. PLEASE ATTEND. IT IS FREE TO CAA MEMBERS!

FOR ACTUVIEW ACCESS to presentations, videos, papers, etc., please contact the CAA Secretariat ( caa.secretariat@gmail.com) for an access code.

I have recently omitted Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Montserrat and Turks & Caicos. St. Barth had not been inluded in the data. The reason being that there is basically no changes in the data and very little significance. There are arguments to include other countries in the region, e.g. Panama and Costa Rica. Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands are included in USA data from our source and, as such, I did not include as this would entail exploring the US data.

The list is focussed on countries in the region with CAA presence and others of interest for comparison. I have left out North America (USA and Canada), data for which are easily available in daily news reports.

I am open to suggestions that are useful and easily managed on a daily basis.

Here is the current COVID-19 data for the Caribbean. Source: local health ministries and/or Worldometer.

Covid 19 data as at May 11th

Remember to check the Resources page on our website for key links.

Thank you.
